The mission of the Herbert & Eileen Bernard Museum of Judaica is to
examine and engage with the intersections of Jewish history, culture and identity.

Following Sabbath services, join us for the opening reception and a feast made entirely of chocolate — from traditional cakes and cookies to the most sumptuous of surprises. Rabbi Deborah Prinz, author of On the Chocolate Trail: A Delicious Adventure Connecting Jews, Religions, History, Travel, Rituals and Recipes to the Magic of Cacao (Second Edition, 2017, Jewish Lights), which inspired the exhibition, will share fascinating stories from her book. Don’t miss this Oneg Shabbat like none that you ever have experienced. It’s the ultimate amuse-bouche for our new exhibition!
